December 25               JOY to the WORLD! Pastor Dave

The Whole World—everyone in it, in all of history—all people everywhere—have reason for Joy today.

All of Creation—plants, animals, people—everything—has reason for Joy today.

Today we celebrate the birth of the Savior, the promised Messiah who would begin to put things right again, and eventually will make things perfect again—the way it was created.

It starts with us—those who choose to follow and to share that message—but it doesn’t end with us!

It is supposed to spread. We are to spread the news!

Today is a great day to do so…share the JOY!

Joy To the World, the Lord is come.

Let earth receive her King!

Let every heart prepare Him room, and heaven and nature sing, and heaven and nature sing;

Let heaven, and heaven and nature sing.

Joy to the Earth, the Savior reigns.

Let men their songs employ.

While fields and floods, rocks hills and planes repeat the sounding joy, repeat the sounding joy.

Repeat, repeat the sounding joy!

No more let sins and sorrows grow
Nor thorns infest the ground
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found
Far as the curse is found
Far as, far as the curse is found
Consider and Discuss: What would it mean for YOU to “Prepare Him Room” in your heart?

Activity: Sing this song as a family today, and sing it in CELEBRATION!
Who do you know that you need to tell about the Joy that Jesus has brought to your life?
